uPVC windows are classified into different types based on their design. These designs serve different purposes. The major types of uPVC windows include:

Casement Windows: Hinged on one side, they can be opened inwards or outwards. These windows provide good ventilation and are easy to clean. They appear similar to traditional doors. 

Sliding Windows: They have 2 or more panes that can be slid horizontally on the tracks.

Tilt and turn windows: These windows can be operated in 2 ways. They can be tilted inward or opened fully like casement windows.

Bay and Bow: They extend from the exterior wall, providing more space. They have 3 or more panels.  

French windows: French windows usually have 2 doors that open from the centre. They have large glass panes that improve flow of natural light. 

Fixed Windows: They are not operable and are usually used to improve flow of natural light and connectivity with the outer world.
